Roses are a classic gift for Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, birthdays and anniversaries. However, they can also be a lovely gift just because. They can bring a smile to your face or brighten up your day.
Recently, dating app Hinge added a new feature that allows you to Send Roses. A rose is a bit like a super-charged “like” that shows a potential match that you’re very interested in getting to know them better. It’s a great way to get their attention and may help you score a date.
When you see someone in your Discover or Standout feed who catches your eye, simply tap the rose icon that now sits next to the Like button on their profile. You will then be prompted to confirm that you want to send the rose before it’s sent. Once sent, the rose will appear in their’standouts’ section.
How Are Roses Different From A Like On Hinge?
When you send a rose to another user on Hinge, it will make their profile stand out in their discover feed and in their’standouts’ section. It will also be displayed on their profile, letting them know that you’re extremely interested in them. It’s similar to a super-swipe on Bumble or a Super Like on Tinder.
However, sending a rose does not guarantee that your potential match will respond to you or even that they’ll be interested in you. You’ll still need to be active on the app, engage in conversations and respond to their prompts.
