Текущие адреса в сети Tor anonymizes the internet connection by encrypting your traffic. It has a network of volunteer relay systems that direct traffic around the internet to cover all geo-locations, making it difficult for anyone to trace your IP address.
Besides hiding your IP, Tor also masks the sites you’re connecting to. This can prevent your ISP or government from figuring out what you’re doing on the Internet, and it makes it easier for you to access websites that are blocked in your country.
The main Tor circuit is made up of three nodes: the entry node, the middle node, and the exit node. These nodes encrypt each packet of data that you send to them, then transmit it to the next node in the circuit.
First, the entry node removes the first layer of encryption with its key. Then it finds an encrypted packet with the middle node’s address, and finally it sends that data to the exit node.
This process of encrypting the packets is called perfect forward secrecy, and it is one of the reasons that the entry node can’t see your IP address. Moreover, the entry node doesn’t know the next node in the circuit, so it can’t figure out what you’re doing on the Internet.
The entry node’s role is critical, as it’s the point where all your web traffic enters the Tor network. Without the node, the network would not work.
To protect the Tor network, the Tor community volunteers to serve as the entry node for all their traffic. This is a public service that ensures the Tor network is running properly and helps keep your information safe.
Another public service is the operators of the exit nodes, who help with the network’s integrity by allowing the target system to see the exit node as the source of the traffic heading to it. This is a good thing, but it can also lead to a lot of law enforcement inquiries and questions from the exit node’s operators about how Tor works.
A few nodes in the Tor network, known as directory servers, keep track of all the nodes that are connected to the network. The directory servers are trusted by the Tor network and are used by clients to get updated information about their connection to the network.
These nodes can provide important information about the state of the network, such as how many nodes are available and the available bandwidth. They can also let you know if a certain node is down or hacked, so you can be sure to avoid them when using the network.
Currently, there are 9 directory servers in the Tor network. Each of these servers is controlled by a different person or organization. The Tor directory servers also keep an up to date list of all the nodes in the network, including their availability and their status.
Atlas
There is a website named Atlas that allows you to check the status of any Tor node. You can type the name of a relay in the search box at the top of the page and it will give you a basic overview of its current status. Clicking on a relay’s nickname will provide you with more detailed information.
